Job Details

Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership – Develop and implement the commercial finance strategy for key customers and product lines.

Pricing Strategy – Lead pricing strategy development and execution to optimize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

Financial Analysis – Conduct in-depth financial modeling and analysis to support pricing decisions, assess market trends, and evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives.

Business Planning – Act as the key financial point of contact for commercial business plans, providing market context, financial analysis, and strategic insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with commercial, operations, marketing, and procurement teams to align pricing strategies with market demands.

Performance Monitoring – Establish KPIs and financial metrics to measure commercial performance, conduct post-bid reviews, and drive continuous improvement.

Market Analysis – Conduct market research and provide insights to help the commercial team outperform industry growth.

Stakeholder Engagement – Serve as the financial liaison for commercial and marketing teams, ensuring transparency and effective communication with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers.

Team Leadership – Build and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

Required Technical Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.

5+ years of experience in a finance role with a commercial focus.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.

Experience managing various pricing models, including open book pricing and auction bids.

Ability to communicate financial insights clearly across the business.

Strong independent and collaborative work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive and strategic problem-solving mindset.

Ability to unify teams and drive collective success.

Process-oriented with a focus on controls and accountability.

Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries.

Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders from different backgrounds.
