Responsibilities :

• Address and maintain organization of all fixtures, fixturing, and sign holders
• Maintain aisles for associates to walk down
• Address and maintain sold and paid areas. Call customers if product has been in S&P for 7 days past the pick up date
• When applicable fixturing may be transferred to and from offsite storage locations
• Sort pallets onto U-boats
• Consistently check the freight room throughout the day for any product that needs to be brought up
• Notify applicable associates (SSM / Support) before transporting freight to the various departments
• Firearms are to be transported to the gun room immediately upon arrival
• Coordinate with the support team for assistance if an area receives a large quantity of freight
• Work to clear freight room of all pallets each evening
• Coordinate scheduling with Shop Managers and support for builds / moves
• Establish product clearing expectations prior to the date of the event
• Assembly / disassembly and movement of Opto walls, Lozier walls and Adams racking
• Complete ownership of all wall building materials on 1st level

Requirements :

Education & Experience : Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements / Lifting Requirements : The candidate for this position must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push / pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates. Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.

Schedule : For this position, we are looking for daytime availability Monday through Friday 7am-5pm 2-3 days a week, and every other weekend. Saturday shifts will vary between 9 : 00 A.M. to 9 : 00 P.M. and Sundays 10 : 00 - 6 : 00. On average, this position will be 15-20 hours per week.

Compensation : The rate posted is a base hourly wage.
