Exciting Opportunity for MSK Fellowship-Trained Radiologist Near South Holland, IL Join the Prestigious Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging

Are you a skilled Radiologist with a passion for Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK)? An outstanding locum tenens opportunity awaits a Board Certified, MSK Fellowship-Trained faculty member. This role is located in a vibrant area approximately 12 miles from downtown Chicago.

Job Description :

• Primary Location :

Hospital Setting

Approximately 12 miles

Radiology and Medical Imaging

Over 50 subspecialized radiologists

Multiple hospitals in the region

Board Certified in Radiology

Strong clinical skills covering the full spectrum of imaging modalities / procedures relevant to MSK imaging

Hospital-based

MRI, CT, joint injection / aspiration, bone marrow sampling, soft tissue / bone biopsy

Weekday 4 p.m. - 11 p.m. call from home (once a week on average)

Evening shift and weekend call fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS / Voice recognition systems

Mix of plain film and cross-sectional

Trauma 1 and Trauma 2 facilities

Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in the department 41 FTE

Not used for MSK

All ages, but pediatrics not required

Available for clinical and translational research

Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate

Usually 2-3 months (depends on the physician's IL license status)

Submission Requirements :

MRI, CT, joint injection / aspiration, bone marrow sampling, soft tissue / bone biopsy - REQUIRED
