Delaware North Gaming is looking for full-time Maintenance Workers to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

What will you do?

Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed, and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods

Operate motor vehicle when necessary

Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks

Perform lawn maintenance, including mowing and removing weeds

Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition

Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies

Must have and maintain a current and valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test.

More about you

No high school diploma or GED required

Operate motor vehicle when necessary

Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for a commercial facility required

Previous experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred

Must have and maintain a current and valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test.

Physical requirements

Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling

Operate motor vehicle when necessary

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Standing and walking 100% of the time

Must be able to work outside in all types of weather

Must have and maintain a current and valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test.
