Job description

A locum tenens opportunity is available for an Anesthesiology specialist in an outpatient surgery center in Salisbury, MD. This role offers a structured Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM schedule with no call and focuses solely on urology procedures. You will work in a single operating room providing general and MAC anesthesia.

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care for urology procedures in an outpatient setting.
  • Provide general / MAC anesthesia.
  • Manage post-op extremity blocks.

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology or Board Eligible
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Proficiency in general, MAC, and regional anesthesia

    • Working Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

    • Skills

  • General, spinal, and regional anesthesia including post-op extremity blocks.
  • Ability to manage complete orthopedic and regional anesthesia surgery.
  • Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks is preferred.
