HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel EEG Technologist for a travel job in Burlington, Vermont.
Job Description & Requirements
Title : EEG Technologist
Location : Burlington, VT
Duration : 16 weeks
Shift : Night shift, Wednesday to Friday, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (3x12 hours)
Job Responsibilities :
Perform EEG procedures including :
Ambulatory EEG
Electrode placement
Long-term / video monitoring
Portable recording
Sleep EEG
Evoked potentials
Check, operate, and calibrate electromyographic equipment per standard procedures
Work in an outpatient cardiac device clinical neurophysiology lab
Care for both adult and pediatric patients (approximately 50% pediatrics)
Document using EPIC charting system
Collaborate within a clinical neuro setting handling patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, and cardiac implants
Required Skills and Experience :
Minimum 2 years of experience in an EEG technologist role
Pediatric patient care experience
Proficiency in applying electrodes using collodion
Experience using EPIC (within the last 2 years – mandatory)
Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 following holidays : Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
Required Certifications :
BLS (American Heart Association)
NIHSS
R.EEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) – must be valid at the time of submission
Preferred Skills and Certifications :
Ability to assist with nerve conduction studies and various evoked potential tests including :
Auditory
Motor
Somatosensory (SSEP)
Visual
Transcranial Motor Evoked Potential (TcMEP)
