About The Position
Excellent NJ Gastroenterology opportunity for Supplemental
coverage starting 2 / 1 / 26 or ASAP and ongoing.
Adult IP, Hospital-based Acute care, 24 hr. coverage
Requesting two Locum GIs to alternate weekly coverage
across two campuses.
Shift : 24 hr. coverage, 7 on / 7 off rotation
Daytime hospital consults / procedures and overnight call.
Call : 5p-7a call rotation
PPS : 15-20 Clinic
5 Hospital-based
Required Procedures :
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Esophageal Dilatation / Manometry
- Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Insertion / Management of Sengstaken / Blakemore Tube
Upper GI Endoscopy Procedures :
With BiopsyWith Foreign Body RemovalWith Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery or Laser)With Injection or Banding of VaricesWith ERCPDiagnostic and TherapeuticWith PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)Onsite Lab and X-ray
