Travel RN Job Details

Location : Milford, MA 01757 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2620-$2690

Shift : 32 hours per week, with two shifts from 18 : 45–07 : 15 and one shift from 22 : 45–07 : 15

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Healthcare Setting : Community Hospital, Float Pool

Units Covered : ED Holds, Med Surg / Tele, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Cardiac, PCU (No ICU floats; possible basic care in Endo)

Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license in hand (required for Massachusetts healthcare jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system highly preferred

Ability to float between multiple hospital units as needed

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Must pass a Telemetry exam during orientation (80% passing score required)

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to adults in Telemetry, Med Surg, Cardiac, and other units

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage IVs and telemetry equipment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, rapid response)

Float between assigned units to meet patient care needs

Document patient care and progress accurately using Meditech Expanse

Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed

Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
