Your Role as a Therapist

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy, fostering healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journey.
  • Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to enhance client care.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans, upholding professional standards.
  • Engage in collaborative care with our multidisciplinary team for a holistic approach to mental health.

    • Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Provisional license as required by state regulations.
  • Passion for mental health and commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation efficiently.
