Asset Integrity Regional Manager

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager for our Asset Integrity Department for our Midwest North Region (Greater Chicago and Great Lakes Area). The ideal candidate should be local to our Hammond, IN office.
Orbital’s Asset Integrity Services are designed to proactively maintain the integrity of structures and equipment throughout our clients’ facilities. This position will report to the Vice President of Asset Integrity and will entail the direct supervision of a team of project managers, field engineers and inspectors, and report writers. The position requires project and resource management experience in a consulting environment, and well-rounded expertise in heavy industrial engineering projects in the steel, manufacturing, petrochemical, chemical, mining, materials processing, and power generation industries.
The position requires the Regional Manager to perform in varying roles related to management, project management, technical support, and customer relationship development. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing, critical-thinking, analytical, and experienced self-starter with excellent leadership skills, written and oral communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
