Description

Summary :

Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse and / or the OR Manager, the RN staff nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care by the use of the nursing process. The RN is responsible for the plan of care for the surgical patient.

Requirements :

A. Education / Skills

Graduate of a nursing program, BSN preferred.

B. Experience

3 years acute care preferred

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Current Louisiana Registered Nursing license
• BLS completed, ACLS completed within 3 months of hire
• Certified Nurse of Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
