ICU RN Travel Job Details

Location : Brunswick, Maine (Zip : 04011) – Maine healthcare jobs

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 27 / 2025 – 1 / 24 / 2026)

Department : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Weekly Hours : 36 hours guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130

Patient Ratios : 2-3 : 1 depending on acuity

Number of Beds : 11-bed ICU

EMR : Epic electronic medical records

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for Maine nursing jobs

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience preferred

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and variable weekends

Strong clinical skills and adaptability to mixed acuity patients

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in a mixed acuity ICU setting

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed

Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Participate in on-call coverage during periods of low census or acuity as required
