Distribution Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Job Description

Our client located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to add to their team. This individual will supervise 10-15 individuals, ensuring the safety and efficiency of order picking and delivery truck operations meet production requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, quality checks, and shipment preparation, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
• Foster a positive and engaged team culture through leadership, coaching, and ongoing support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and partners to support business objectives.
• Manage staffing schedules, attendance records, and time-off requests to meet operational needs.
• Ensure the facility is secure and properly shut down at the end of each shift.
• Comfortable operating or overseeing the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other material-handling tools.
