Job description

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Responsibilities

Develop a plan to sell new and existing clients.

Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

Promote the companys products / services addressing or predicting clients objectives.

Prepare sales proposals and contracts according to company guidelines.

Work within company identified sales processes using technology to accurately keep records of sales details including, communications, revenue, contacts and other relevant data.

Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

Communicate needed information to operational team.

Attending association meetings, shows or other industry events on behalf of company as needed.

Traveling to meet with opportunities within a geographic region.

Ability to manage a sales pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.

Work collaboratively with the operations team as well as other sales groups within the organization.

Required Skills & Abilities

Estimate and measure properties - Walking job sites to obtain accurate estimate numbers for turf and mulch / pine needles and flowers - 50% of job

Administrative Work 30% of job

Driving to / from properties 20% of job

Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Professional demeanor with staff and clients

Strong oral and written skills

Collaborating with teams while being available, reliable, responsible, and dependable

Manage priorities effectively

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (LMN)

Competitor knowledge

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to build rapport

Time management and planning skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or 5 years+ of outside sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base.
