About The Position

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, ENPC

Must-Have :

Must have ENPC prior to signing.

Must have pediatric experience within a combined Adult / Pedi ED or a Pediatric ED.

Triage experience is required.

Pediatric dosage calculation skills are necessary.

Phlebotomy and starting IV experience are essential.

Ability to interpret 12 Lead EKG and cardiac dysrhythmias is required.

Description :

No request for time off during the first 7 days of the contract or the last day of the contract.

Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed.

Weekend days include Saturday and Sunday, while weekend nights include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

During high census periods, admission holds may be boarded in the Pediatric ER for longer than normal.

The ratios are typically 4 : 1, but can increase during busy times.

Travelers may be required to float to the Pediatric admission floors as staffing needs dictate.

Trauma / resuscitation experience is preferred.

Travelers can work up to 12 consecutive months before needing to take a break between assignments.

Travelers must complete drug screens within 30 days of starting.

Travelers must ensure any vacation time or schedule conflicts are communicated prior to submission.

Personal transportation is required.

Compliance documents must be completed promptly after signing.

COVID-19 vaccination is required; medical and religious exemptions are accepted with appropriate documentation.

Flu vaccination is required; medical and religious exemptions are accepted.

All certifications must be current.

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong ER experience, especially if they have limited travel experience.

Flexibility regarding schedule changes and a willingness to adapt to the unit's needs is crucial.
