The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :

• Working with Product Development, Sales and Marketing personnel to develop and replicate high impact specialty and masking tape applications for various industrial markets.
• Identifying the best 3M solution for an application by thoroughly understanding the customer need, testing, and analyzing results. Communicating results to customers and through written reports and presentations.
• Providing launch support for new product programs by generating supporting documentation, demonstration tools, videos, and training materials.
• Building a deep understanding of customer needs and competition for the adhesives market and provide Voice of Customer, new product ideas and competitive analysis.
• Working closely with customers to solve customer application issues.

Work location : This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. Travel : May include up to 20% domestic / international. Relocation : May be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
