Job description

This role is responsible for managing and maintaining critical merchant databases that power prepaid card and payment solutions. The Sr. Database Admin will ensure data accuracy, support reporting and analytics, and help enforce merchant compliance across networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality data, troubleshoot issues, and implement efficient processes that enhance operational reliability. The position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities to impact core business operations and customer satisfaction on a national scale.

Accountabilities :

  • Build, maintain, and clean internal merchant databases to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Evaluate and classify merchant violations in alignment with operational policies.
  • Generate reports for internal analysis, partner reviews, and business insights.
  • Manipulate and prepare data using Excel and other database tools for input into templates.
  • Set up and test new products to ensure seamless point-of-sale acceptance.
  • Review branding materials for merchant and product accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects, troubleshoot cardholder issues, and support operational needs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (advanced).
  • Experience with database applications (e.g., MS Access).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Process-focused and detail-oriented, with experience resolving merchant or cardholder issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
