Key Responsibilities

Team & Operations Management

  • Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team of 100+ professionals, including clinical and administrative staff, to execute against organizational goals and KPIs.
  • Lead company-wide operational excellence initiatives across workflows and cross-functional projects.
  • Build and nurture a culture of high performance, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.

Insurance Credentialing & Compliance

  • Build and implement Better Us insurance credentialing infrastructure from the ground up, including technology / platform selection, staff training, payer / provider enrollment, and compliance.
  • Serve as executive owner for payer participation processes that unlock reimbursement and fuel rapid growth.
  • Prioritize quality assurance, patient safety, ethical integrity, and client experience in all areas of financial and operational oversight.
  • Leverage expertise in telehealth, healthcare insurance, billing, credentialing, and compliance to optimize revenue cycle and efficiency.
  • Financial & Strategic Leadership

  • Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO.
  • Oversee comprehensive financial operations including planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, reporting, cash flow, working capital, audits, and compliance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, insurance, billing, credentialing, and related financial controls.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, invoices, and reports.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define organizational strategy and translate objectives into actionable operational plans.
  • Advise on company capitalization, MSO / PC structure, and investment strategies; manage board and investor communications.
  • Revenue Growth & Performance

  • Develop and track KPIs to monitor organizational performance and optimize revenue streams across clinical and administrative domains.
  • Drive growth, scalability, and expansion initiatives through strategic planning and execution.
  • Project Management & Technology Vision

  • Champion major projects, including new service implementations, technology upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Partner with IT / tech leads to ensure security, interoperability, and privacy standards (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) are maintained.
  • Foster a data-driven culture by leveraging analytics and dashboards to inform leadership decisions.
  • Vendor, Partner & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage key relationships with vendors, payers, technology partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Lead or support B2B sales initiatives and employer / health plan partnerships.
  • Qualifications

  • Must have direct experience managing a team of 100+ employees in healthcare or telehealth.
  • 710 years finance experience with strong financial acumen (modeling, forecasting, compliance).
  • 10+ years experience in operations management, financial leadership, or startup environments.
  • 5+ years expertise in insurance, billing, credentialing, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of MSO / PC structures strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, KPI management, revenue growth, and scaling operations.
  • Strong finance-based analytical skills.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, business, health administration, or related field (advanced degree or CPA / MBA a plus).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a hands-on, collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Monday, Jira, Trello, Salesforce, Gohighlevel), CRM, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience leading technology-enabled transformation, ideally in mental health or digital health startups.
