Position Overview :

Join CSols, Inc., the premier laboratory informatics consultancy helping global biotech and pharma companies get more value from their data. We’re looking for a talented LabVantage LIMS Consultant / Business Analyst to join our team and deliver high quality laboratory informatics solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities :

1.      Conduct thorough business analysis to gather and document user requirements, functional specifications, and system designs.

2.      Develop and configure LabVantage LIMS solutions using out-of-the-box configurations. Use of Java, JavaScript, and Groovy are a plus.

3.      Design and implement ELN / LES modules, including template creation, policy setup, and department security configurations.

4.      Create and customize reports using Jasper Reports and LabVantage reporting tools.

5.      Collaborate with client cross-functional teams, including IT infrastructure and database administrators, to ensure successful LIMS implementations.

6.      Conduct training sessions and provide support to clients on LabVantage LIMS usage and administration.

7.      Troubleshoot and resolve LIMS operational issues.

8.      Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in laboratory informatics.

Requirements

1.      Bachelor’s degree in a scientific related field.

2.      Minimum 3 years of experience with LabVantage LIMS implementation and customization.

3.      Experience with LabVantage SDMS, BarTender, and Jasper Reports.

4.      Familiarity with various database systems, including MSSQL Server and Oracle.

5.      Knowledge of infrastructure services such as JBoss, HTTP, SMTP, and DNS.

6.      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7.      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.

8.      Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Experience with additional programming languages such as PowerShell.

3. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and SQL.

3. Familiarity with report automation tools.

5. Experience with developing and delivering technical training.

• This position may require occasional travel to client sites for on-site implementation, training, and support.
