Job Description
Paradigm is seeking a Quality Technician to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations with our client in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you’ll program and operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) / Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) systems, perform first article inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with QMS standards. Candidates should have IPC-A-610 certification, experience with AOI equipment, and strong surface mount technology (SMT) component identification skills.
Type : 6 month contract-to-hire
Shift : Swing Shift (3 : 00PM - 1 : 30AM, Mon - Thurs)
Location : On-site, Vancouver, WA

Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes : Ability to adapt to and understand OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software, even without prior experience Previous, or active, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certification Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation, Pass the Component Identification quiz, Run in-line washers, and In-process inspection accurately Minimum of 6 months of experience operating automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment or related inspection experience Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and calibrating AOI equipment preferred Experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) component identification, accurately recognize and identify a wide variety of SMT components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, and ICs
