What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Tech II, you'll be part of our Distribution Center team located in Northlake, TX. You'll get to :

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment
• Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of equipment; prioritize, schedule, assign and coordinate the work of assigned staff to accomplish a wide variety of duties related to the building
• Operate a variety of equipment and machines including saws, drill presses and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work; maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean and proper work condition
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and fixtures; trouble shoot to repair or replace fans and motors; perform repairs to motors, bells, clocks and lighting circuits and to communicate on audio visual equipment
• Perform a variety of skilled building maintenance including reports to doors, windows, roofs and other building parts, construct or assemble furniture and other wood and metal structures; install and maintain grand master lock systems and electrical security systems
• Perform preventive maintenance work
• Coordinate electrical repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits, and applicants; repairs and replaces lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions; maintains and regularly test working condition of safety equipment including fire alarm, emergency lighting, and intercom systems
• Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure
• Ensure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements
