Job Title : Chapter & Communications Coordinator

Location : Hybrid - Remote within San Diego and / or Imperial County; regular in-person presence required

Scope : The Chapter & Communications Coordinator is a key full-time staff member who supports the operational, administrative, and communications functions of the San Diego Chapter. This union-represented position plays a vital role in supporting volunteer teams, maintaining internal systems, and leading public-facing communications—including management of the chapter’s flagship publication, the HiSierran .

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is $65,000 annually.
This position is represented by a collective bargaining unit and is subject to the terms and conditions of the contract between Sierra Club and Progressive Workers Union.
This is a category 5, exempt, represented position.
