We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial systems, which contributes to DMBA's overall success. We need an individual with a strong understanding of accounting, financial processes, and systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a liaison between the accounting department and IT and external parties to oversee financial system integrations, upgrades, changes, security assessments and other process related changes.
- Design, implement, and maintain financial systems to support accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Analyze and document business requirements and develop technical solutions to address accounting and finance needs.
- Collaborate with Accounting, IT, and other operational stakeholders to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
- Configure, test and support financial applications to meet organizational requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for financial systems, including process flows, data dictionaries, and user guides.
- Create and optimize financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Act as the main contact for questions and issues with all financial systems, including third party integrations, external systems, and others.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure continuous operation.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes by ensuring data integrity and system availability.
- Lead testing and training for new implementations and upgrades.
- Manage new user creation and assist in training for financial systems.
- Assist the accounting department with data extraction and analysis and other reporting related tasks.
- Assist with internal and external audits by extracting and securely providing data.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience supporting and / or working with accounting systemsBachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science, or equivalent experienceExperience with Sage Intacct and other financial applicationsStrong analytical skills with ability to simplify complex issuesProficiency in Microsoft tools and data extraction and analysisDeep understanding of business processes and system integration experienceComfortable working with a high level of autonomy and managing and communicating priorities and workload effectively with leadership.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.What We Offer :
