Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a contract opportunity in The Woodlands, Texas at a major hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform special and invasive radiologic procedures while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, explain procedures, and administer contrast when required.
- Select and operate appropriate imaging techniques and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Enter and monitor patient data accurately.
- Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and assist with accreditation applications.
- Report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or patient concerns to management promptly.
- Take emergency call as assigned.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support department goals and assist in mentoring or training less experienced staff as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT) required.Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) required.Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS or ACLS).Minimum recent 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.Ability to safely lift and maneuver patients with assistance.Additional Details
