Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a contract opportunity in The Woodlands, Texas at a major hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform special and invasive radiologic procedures while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for exams, explain procedures, and administer contrast when required.
• Select and operate appropriate imaging techniques and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Enter and monitor patient data accurately.
• Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and assist with accreditation applications.
• Report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or patient concerns to management promptly.
• Take emergency call as assigned.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Support department goals and assist in mentoring or training less experienced staff as needed.
