What You Will Get To Do :
Lead team on different client relationships simultaneously.Determine milestone and maintain tax calendar to meet client deliverablesReview Federal and State partnership tax returns (prepared using GoSystems) and work papers for hedge fund clientsReview tax estimates for partners of fundsReview state and foreign tax withholding paymentsReview and reconcile cumulative book to tax income and expense adjustmentsMaintain federal, state, and local tax calendarReview documentation to support tax return filingsReview incentive fee reallocations and capital gain allocations via aggregation and layeringReview tax analysis, including wash sale, constructive sale, straddle, mark to market adjustmentsPerform research of relevant tax laws, regulations and rulings to determine proper tax treatment of issues (Federal & State)Review and analyze company financial statementsManage client relationshipsMentor team to improve their skills and help them grow as tax professionalsRespond to tax noticesWhat You Will Bring :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Master's in TaxationCPA License a plus10+ years of partnership tax experience Extensive experience with state tax filings due to resident partners, source incomeExtensive experience with state withholding tax payments and entity level taxesExtensive experience with reviewing partnership allocationsExtensive experience with foreign reporting requirementsStrong supervisory and organizational skillsSolid MS Excel knowledge and GoSystems, CCH Axcess, CCH ProSystem fx Software ExperienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTeam Player, attentive to detail and proven ability to multi-taskSS&C offers excellent benefits including health, dental, 401k plan, tuition and professional development reimbursement plan.
