Cedar Hills Hospital currently has an opening for an Intake Coordinator - Therapist. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for coordination of admission, assessment, and referral of incoming patients including the coordination of provider assessments and initiation of the admission process. The Intake Coordinator provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Intake Director.

Qualifications
Education : Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.
Experience : Preferred : 1-3 years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. New Master's graduates encouraged to apply!
Licensure : Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, Temporary CSWA license or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure.
Additional Requirements : CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
