The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting the Outside Sales team and collaborating with other departments within the Phoenix Sales and Service Team, including Accounting, Shipping & Receiving, and Engineering. The primary objective is to ensure exceptional customer service and timely resolution of customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Source and provide customer quotes daily using MAS Sage 100 and Microsoft Outlook.
- Input vendor pricing and delivery information into the MAS Sage 100 system.
- Process sales and purchase orders daily in MAS Sage 100.
- Prepare and send proforma invoices for customers requiring pre-payment.
- Utilize credit card processing software as needed.
- Coordinate shipping for incoming orders.
- Collaborate with Engineering on product development initiatives.
- Conduct monthly reviews of open purchase and sales orders.
- Generate and distribute monthly sales reports to management.
- Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts.
- Maintain strong proficiency in PC use, MAS Sage 100, and related office software and hardware.
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, and vendors at all times.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers as needed.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by sourcing high-quality components at competitive prices while meeting delivery schedules.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer requirements, including product specs, delivery needs, and special sourcing considerations.
- Handle follow-up communications and correspondence with customers and vendors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Manage time efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide coverage for coworkers during vacation or absences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications :
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Experience with MAS Sage 100 (preferred).Familiarity with online portals.Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative attitude.
