Maintenance Technician – Madison, WI (Technician In Training)
$20-$26 per hour (Based on Experience)

What You’ll Do
- Prepare vacant units for market readiness, ensuring a polished, move-in-ready space.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests, addressing concerns efficiently and professionally.
- Assist in preventative maintenance, including light bulb and filter changes, painting, drywall patching, lock repairs, and pool maintenance (if applicable).
- Help with snow removal, ensuring safe and clear paths by 6 : 00 a.m., while keeping accurate salting logs.
- Perform on-call emergency services in rotation with other maintenance team members.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance logs, timesheets, and checklists.
- Keep grounds and common areas clean, safe, and free of debris.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Knowledge :
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.Comfortable using essential tools like drills, saws, and meters.Education & Experience :
High school diploma preferredLicenses & Certifications :
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and basic tools required.Physical Requirements :
