Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to facility and nursing standards. This role requires professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently across assigned units.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, timely, and accurate nursing care according to clinical guidelines and scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols and state regulations
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patient health status
• Assist with patient assessments and contribute to care plan updates
• Perform wound care, medication passes, and other LPN-level clinical tasks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient charts
• Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergent patient needs
• Support infection control practices and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transition-of-care processes
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising clinicians
