Compensation :
- As a Home Consultant with Clayton, you will receive a $50k base salary plus a lucrative commission plan

The main job purpose as a Retail Home Consultant with Clayton will be to create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.

Clayton Ambassador protect the Clayton branding and assets by maintaining a high level of integrity throughout the sales processConstant Learner develop expertise in areas such as finance mortgage concepts, product, sales acumen, sales presentation skills and your local marketCustomer Follow-up maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company's CRM systemMerchandising assist manager by helping select inventory, decorate models and maintain appearance of the homesPersonal Prospecting develop, refine and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center trafficProduct Demonstration present potential buyers display homes, demonstrate features and benefits to create added valueSet Appointments set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointmentsTraining participates in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company sponsored functionsTeam Oriented cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as requiredRequirements :
At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferredGeneral understanding of the retail environmentAbility to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensingLearn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homesStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to excel and contribute to a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work required schedule, including SaturdaysProfessional demeanor and appearanceAbility to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasonsAbility to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs.)Subject to criminal background check and drug screeningClayton is the nation's leading housing provider, offering a vertically integrated approach to building, selling, and insuring affordable homes.
