Area Sales Manager
Hitachi Energy is seeking an Area Sales Manager based in Princeton, NJ, to lead sales efforts for High Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) across the West Coast territory. In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with strategic sales leadership to deliver innovative solutions that power industries and communities. You'll influence specifications, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth through impactful marketing and sales strategies.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Increase sales and business opportunities for GIS products and services.
- Promote Hitachi Energy solutions through webinars, seminars, and presentations.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer needs.
- Report monthly on sales activities, forecasts, and customer engagements.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth.
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights for strategic planning.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to capture additional market share.
- Participate in customer meetings for technical clarifications and solution presentations.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.58 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in energy or power systems.Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.Comfortable delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences.Ability to travel 50% or more as needed.U.S. work authorization required.More About Us
