Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Room of a Level 1 Trauma Center Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am); no block scheduling allowed Work every other weekend (2 weekends per month) Mandatory floating to any Cook facility within a 50-mile radius; may be floated outside primary competency using a team-based model Uses Cerner EMR system; Cerner experience preferred Scrub color is navy blue (not provided) Strict RTO policy : maximum of 5 days off permitted, no more than 2 consecutive days, no weekend or holiday RTO, and no RTO the day before or after a holiday Travelers may be assigned to multiple units, including outside their primary specialty, with appropriate team support Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an assignment Compliance requirements must be strictly met prior to orientation Holiday coverage is required as scheduled Requirements Active IL RN license must be in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent acute care emergency department experience required Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required Proof of COVID vaccination required prior to start Must live within a 75-mile radius to be considered as a local Pending licensure is not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639014.
