Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. This position will be working 72 hours every two weeks on the night shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend.

In the Nursing Station Technician role in the NICU, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, collaboration and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fast-paced unit. Other job duties include :

• Minimal direct patient care
• Maintaining unit desk area functions such as answering phones, processing admissions, discharging and transferring forms and assembling patient charts
• Setting up and maintaining patient rooms
• Ordering and stocking of supplies
