Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in Oregon requiring a minimum of two years’ experience and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Long Term Care setting within a nursing administration unit
  • Patient ratio is determined by an acuity measurement tool, commonly 1 : 20 with 2-3 CNAs on the floor
  • Primarily general nursing responsibilities for long term care
  • HealthLand EMR is used for charting
  • OmniCell medication / pharmaceutical delivery system is utilized
  • 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week for a 36-hour work week
  • Call is required for this position
  • Facility provides general orientation focused on hospital district mission, values, and safety, with department-specific technology training
  • Scrubs must be tasteful and in good condition
  • Two to three CNAs provide team support on the floor
  • Firm start date for assignment

  • Active Oregon RN license required (temp license endorsement available)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
  • Minimum two years of long term care experience
