As a State & Local Tax Manager in our Unclaimed Property group, you will play an important role in delivering unclaimed property compliance and consulting services to our clients. You will manage day-to-day project execution, lead and develop team members, and work closely with clients to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting. You will collaborate across service lines to identify opportunities, improve processes, and contribute to the continued growth of our unclaimed property practice.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage unclaimed property compliance and consulting engagements, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and state regulatory requirements
• Serve as a primary client contact for assigned projects, providing guidance on state laws, reporting obligations, and best practices
• Assist with complex client projects such as voluntary disclosure agreements, audit support, exposure quantification, and compliance remediation
• Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships or cross-sell additional Crowe services
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff, helping develop technical and professional skills through on-the-job learning and coaching
• Collaborate with senior leaders to enhance engagement efficiency, improve processes, and implement new technologies within the unclaimed property team
• Stay informed on current unclaimed property laws, regulatory updates, and industry trends to support client compliance and mitigate risk

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $96,500.00 - $228,500.00 per year.
