Job descriptionLead the full performance management cycle including goal setting, annual appraisals, and performance improvement plans. Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and reinforce company values. Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering clear communication to staff. Supervise weekly payroll processing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Provide guidance to department heads on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Track key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, engagement, etc.) and provide reports and insights to leadership. Oversee smooth onboarding for new hires and structured offboarding for departing employees, including exit interviews and documentation. Monitor changes in labor laws and ensure company practices remain compliant with all relevant regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or HR management role. Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and payroll practices. Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll platforms (e.g., Paycom, ADP, BambooHR). Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information. PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification preferred (not required). Powered by JazzHR

- Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources & Safety, this individual will oversee performance management, employee engagement, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
- The HR Manager will play a key role in shaping a positive and productive workplace culture, driving compliance, and partnering with leadership to support business goals.
- This role is ideal for a strategic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and brings strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to the table.
