MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. This is a remote role that may require occasional travel to Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Design, architect, and build the required structure to store and maintain financial and budgetary data.

Provide technical database design, administration, and maintenance functions necessary for the development of databases that will contain all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data utilized by the enterprise.

Migrate data from Oracle data warehouse to a SQL Server based data warehouse. The required solution utilizes physical servers operating Windows 2022 operating system and SQL server, and virtual machines operating on Windows 2022 server operating system.

Configure and build the databases and data warehouses in Microsoft SQL Server. Data currently residing in an Oracle 12c relational database must be migrated to SQL Server.

Create Data Migration Plan and execute the plan to migrate budget data from 2017 to current, from Oracle into the SQL Server data warehouse

Provide support to other team members responsible for creating business intelligence dashboards and reports.

Data analysis, problem solving, investigation and creative thinking with large amounts of data supporting a variety of scenarios and work closely with the client to assist in managing data needs and supporting collection of data needed for various operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline, or 8 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.

8 years of experience in data architecture or related roles, including experience with data modeling, database design, and data integration Proficiency in data modeling, database design, data warehousing, and ETL processes

Proven experience developing and maintaining data models and data dictionaries

Proven experience working with and implementing data quality checks to identify errors and address outdated business rules

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server

Proven data warehouse and ETL experience, including data warehouse design

Proven experience with SQL Server Migration Assistant for Oracle (SSMA) or similar tool

Data migration experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

CompTIA Security+ certification

Preferred Qualifications :

Oracle database experience

Experience with TIBCO EBX master data management

Experience converting OBIEE reports to Power BI.

Experience implementing Federal financial management systems such as OneStream (highly preferred), Hyperion, or other Corporate Performance Management platforms

Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.

Advanced certifications, such as those related to SQL Server, data warehouses, business intelligence, and Agile methodologies

Clearance Requirements :

Must have a current / active Top Secret security clearance and may be required to obtain a TS / SCI security clearance.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
