This Role is a SDI BioCarbon Solutions Position. What is SDI BioCarbon Solutions?

SDI Biocarbon Solutions is a joint venture between Steel Dynamics and Aymium, focused on producing renewable biocarbon as a direct replacement for fossil fuel-based carbon in steelmaking. Our new greenfield facility in Columbus, Mississippi, utilizes proven, patented technology to convert sustainably sourced biomass into high-quality biocarbon and biogas products. The facility has successfully begun shipping product and plays a critical role in Steel Dynamics' decarbonization strategy by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing our commitment to sustainable steelmaking.

Internship Location

This internship is located at the SDI BioCarbon Solutions located in Columbus, MS. This internship will take place in Summer 2026.
