Our client, a nationally recognized real estate development and investment organization, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for corporate, partnership, and LLC entities

Support tax planning, projections, and research initiatives related to real estate development and investment activities

Assist with K-1 preparation, review, and distribution

Maintain tax compliance calendars and ensure timely filings

Support quarterly and annual tax provision processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (accounting, FP&A, development) to understand project and entity structures

Provide support during audits and respond to tax notices

Identify and implement process improvements and tax-efficiency opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

CPA or CPA-track preferred

3-6+ years of relevant tax experience (public accounting or corporate)

Real estate, partnership (1065), or REIT experience preferred

Strong understanding of income tax compliance and reporting

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
