Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurosurgery Specialist

Position Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Neurosurgery team. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures and assisting in their recovery. You will have the opportunity to work in a 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit that caters to a diverse patient population, including those with post-operative needs from various surgical interventions.

Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Shift :

3rd Shift, Full-Time, 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and compassionate care.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions with appropriate interventions.
• Participate in the discharge planning process utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
• Promote patient safety and report any concerns promptly.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for extended periods, and perform necessary tasks while adhering to safety standards.
