About The Position

Decontamination and Disinfection (Chemical agents for decontamination, Disinfectants, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Manual cleaning, Proper labeling, Ultrasonic cleaner, Use of Washers / sterilizers); Preparation and Handling (Aseptic Technique, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Preference cards, Proper labeling, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures); Processing Endoscopes; Sets / trays assembly; Equipment Documentation; Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM); Specialty Equipment Processing (Bariatric, Dental, Ear / Nose / Throat, Endoscopy, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB / GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, Vascular); Sterilization (Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Gas (ETOH) Testing / monitoring, Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), Steam Sterilization Testing / monitoring, Steris Testing / monitoring, Sterrad Testing / monitoring)

Job Requirements

3 years experience REQUIRED; NO first time travelers.

Certifications REQUIRED : BLS (AHA), IAHCSMM / HSPA

CBSPD is preferred.
