About the Role

As a Cloudflare Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Account Executives, driving market share growth among China-to-Global enterprise companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to attract, hire, and develop top-performing Account Executives, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets and contributes to Cloudflare's broader business objectives. Success in this role requires cross‑functional collaboration, the ability to navigate rapidly changing priorities, and strong internal advocacy to support the team's needs. You will work closely with multiple departments to maintain high sales performance, achieve budget expectations, and drive sustained revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Sales Experience is a MUST have.
  • This is a People's Manager role (team management experiences is a must have).
  • Achieve and Exceed Revenue Targets – Lead the team to meet or surpass quarterly and annual new ACV, retention targets, and other growth objectives.
  • Market Expertise – Deeply understand the China-to-Global enterprise segment, with a focus on digital‑native giants and global manufacturers expanding internationally.
  • Strategic Influence – Advocate for product and infrastructure improvements based on customer needs and market insights.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching – Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of Account Executives (AEs), fostering a results‑driven culture.
  • Deal Execution & Pipeline Management – Provide strategic guidance on complex deal structures, contract negotiations, and long sales cycles in the enterprise space.
  • Sales Process Optimization – Continuously refine sales processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance pipeline efficiency.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Marketing, Business Development Representatives, Partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, Infrastructure, and Legal teams to drive alignment and support large‑scale enterprise deals.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development – Partner with Recruiting team to attract, hire, and retain top‑tier enterprise sales talent.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Team Management Experience – Experience in hiring, coaching, and managing a team of quota‑carrying enterprise sales professionals.
  • Proven Sales Leadership – Demonstrated success as a Sales Director or Sales Manager, with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving team performance.
  • Enterprise Sales Expertise – Hands‑on experience managing complex, high‑value enterprise deals, particularly within digital‑native giants and global manufacturers.
  • Exceptional Communication – Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to develop and present ideas to C‑level executives and key stakeholders.
  • SaaS & Cloud Technology Knowledge – Deep understanding of the SaaS sales process, enterprise buying cycles, and industry trends.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English – Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English to effectively engage with global stakeholders.
  • Educational Background – A Master's degree in Engineering (not a must) or a related field is a plus.
