JOB TITLE : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

LOCATION : Nashville TN - Detox Center

SCHEDULE : Full Time / All Shifts available include 7a-7p / 7p-7a with rotating weekend shift coverage

SALARY : $28.00 / hour plus Overtime and Shift Differential

Licensed Practical Nurse Summary

Provides care for clients dealing with co-occurring disorders in a detox setting located in Nashville TN

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES i nclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Takes client's vital signs, treats wounds, and evaluates physical condition of clients as needed in emergency situations
• Maintains record of persons treated, and prepares incident reports
• Completes client medical history to be added to the clinical record
• Performs tuberculosis testing on all clients at time of admission and employees and makes appropriate referrals for individual's exhibiting S / S of TB or presenting with positive TB test
• Is responsible for the follow-up and documentation of medical information into the client's clinical record
• Completes the medical admission process and assists the medical records department, as needed
• Is available to answer medical questions after hours as needed by on-call staff
• Performs other duties as required or needed
