Job Title : Title Examiner

Location : Ocean County, NJ (onsite / potential hybrid)

Compensation : $60k-$75k DOE

Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established Title Company in Manahawkin, NJ, seeking an experienced Title Examiner to join their team. This role is ideal for someone deeply entrenched in the title industry, who thrives on accuracy, detail, and delivering top-tier work across a variety of files.

What You'll Do

• Conduct residential commercial title searches and examinations to prepare accurate title commitments.
• Review and analyze survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive title searches and compile all necessary documentation for examination.
• Complete title commitments with all required sections and produce cover letters that highlight key matters of title.
• Deliver completed title commitments to appropriate parties, including realtors and lenders.
• Execute all related system tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the Examinations team regarding title questions and issues.
• Maintain strong working relationships with underwriting counsel and other stakeholders.
• Assist with ad hoc title requests and provide support to the business as needed.
• Work with tools like Accutitle, Charles Jones, and Microsoft Suite
