Position Overview

Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed School Counselor to join our teamin Raytown, Missouri for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, onsite position focuses on supporting students academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities

Provide academic advising and career planning to help students set and achieve goals

Offer individual and group counseling to support emotional well-being and conflict resolution

Develop and implement programs that promote social-emotional learning (SEL) and positive behavior

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs

Assist in crisis management and intervention when necessary

Qualifications

Active Missouri School Counselor License (required)

Masters degree in School Counseling or related field

Prior experience working with middle school students preferred

Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
