  • Position Overview :
  • Our mission is to help people make their lives better through dance. We are seeking passionate and energetic Dance Instructors to join our team at Arthur Murray Chevy Chase. As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your love of dance with students, helping them learn new skills, gain confidence, and achieve their dance goals.
  • Responsibilities :
  • Teach a variety of dance styles, including but not limited to Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Tango, Salsa, and more.- Conduct group classes, private lessons, and practice sessions for individuals and couples of all ages and skill levels.- Create personalized lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each student.- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their technique, style, and performance.- Participate in studio events, showcases, and competitions as both a performer and instructor.- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated and inspired to succeed.
  • Qualifications :
  • Background in dance preferred but not required.- Previous teaching or coaching experience is a plus, but not required.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively with individuals and couples of varying ages and abilities.- Enthusiasm for teaching and sharing the joy of dance with others.- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
