Interpret plans and specifications in order to prepare written proposals for bids and proposalsPossess knowledge of local material, labor and equipment costsMaintain understanding of all local, city and state building codes in assigned locationsManage and train project engineers and assistant project estimators to ensure proper growth within the organizationContinuously develop and improve upon knowledge for all product lines, including drywall, acoustical, doors / frames / hardware (Div 8) and specialties (Div 10).Education and Experience :
B.S. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferredAssistant Estimator with 2 years of experience or 5-7 years of experience overallSuccess Factors :
Demonstrated ability to produce in an high pressure environmentDemonstrated ability in meeting or exceeding goals with minimal direct supervisionSelf-motivatedCommitment to personal and professional standards of excellenceThis position requires a criminal background check and signing a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement
