Senior Manager, Insights Consulting Customer & Market Intelligence

Walmart is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Customer Insights to lead macrotrend analysis and uncover how evolving social, economic, and cultural dynamics are shaping customer behavior. This role will be instrumental in guiding Walmart's customer strategy by identifying emerging patterns in retail spending, lifestyle shifts, and sentiment across diverse U.S. demographics. This position requires a strong foundation in consumer research, trend analysis, and strategic storytelling.

Core Responsibilities :

• Customer Understanding : Serve as a subject matter expert on evolving customer needs, identifying how external forces are reshaping shopping behaviors and spending priorities.
• Strategic Insight : Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to generate forward-looking insights that inform enterprise strategy and guide decision-making.
• Storytelling & Communication : Translate complex insights into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations for senior leadership, merchandising, marketing, and strategy teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external research partners to ensure alignment and drive impact.
• Continuous Improvement : Champion a culture of curiosity, learning, and innovation to elevate the quality and influence of insights.
• Talent & Team Development : Mentor associates, foster collaboration, and uphold Walmart's values of belonging.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : stock.
