This Critical Access hospital in Central Georgia is seeking a board certified / board eligible Internal Medicine physician to staff a traditional practice with 100% outpatient responsibilities. This salaried physician will join a group of three physicians, receive a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines, full employee benefits (including profit sharing, relocation expenses and educational loan assistance), as well as, office setup and support from the administrative management team.

Putnam General Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital in Eatonton, GA, with 25 beds. It is accredited by the Joint Commission (JC). Survey data for 2014 shows 10,114 patients visited the hospital's emergency room. There were 10,068 Outpatient / Clinic / All Other Non-Emergency visits. The hospital had a total of 697 admissions. Its physicians performed 507 inpatient and outpatient surgeries.

Eatonton is nestled in the heart of Georgia's Lake Country, both lakes Oconee and Sinclair offer recreational activities for the whole family. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 6,480. The city is the county seat of Putnam County.
