Staffmark is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity with a trusted, privately-owned company in Dayton, OH. We’re looking for a dedicated Incoming Inspector to join a team that values integrity and invests in your professional growth.

Schedule & Pay

Monday – Friday
1st Shift | 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM
$16 - $18 per hour (based on experience)

As an Incoming Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and products meet required standards before entering the manufacturing process. Your attention to detail supports supplier quality assurance and protects the integrity of downstream operations.

Responsibilities :

Inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders, engineering drawings, and specifications

Accurately document inspection results in quality tracking systems

Identify and report non-conformances, assisting with corrective and preventive actions

Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment

Verify supplier documentation and certifications for compliance

Maintain traceability of materials and inspection records

Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues

Support audit readiness and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 2 years of inspection experience

Skilled with inspection tools and reading specs / drawings

Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or relevant quality standards

Strong communication and documentation skills

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Experience programming or operating CMM equipment

Knowledge of GD&T principles

Familiarity with materials such as metals, polymers, and coatings

Background in aerospace, medical, or automotive industries
